Valhall is a large oilfield situated in the North Sea on the Norwegian territorial waters. The oil production started 1982 and is expected to continue until 2050. Valhall, operated by British Petroil, is a demanding oil field and under constant development. Due to the seawater level changes, the living quarters of the crew need periodical renovation. When building living spaces for crew in demanding conditions such as these, special attention needs to be paid for fire safety. Rauma Interior is now opening a door for an interesting new sector by participating in an offshore-project, and decorating the cabins for 180 men crew.
