marine: The European sea connection gets a boost STX Vismark shipyard in Germany is building two Stena Line shipping company’s roro-ships for the transport between England and France for 2010. For both of the ships, Rauma Interior will deliver furnishing for over 500 cabins. The demanding material choices of these cabins require special know-how during the construction. In the end, the shiny surfaces, and the polished stainless steel of the cabin furnishing, are an impressive sight. The passengers are sure to enjoy their travel on the European connective seaways.

crea: Vuojoki Mansion is full of history The Vuojoki Mansion represents one of the most prestigious pieces of building architecture in Finland. The mansion is mentioned for the first time in documents dating back to the end of the 16th century. Architect C. L. Engel designed the mansion and it's building was completed in 1836. The mansion with it's magnificent surroundings has been restored to its former glory and now works as a place for meeting, seminars and as a centre for cultural events. Rauma Interior has been privileged to be part of the process with deliveries to the main building, eastern style grand piano meeting room and most recently in the restoration of the old green house - Orangeria.

In RCI's Freedom-class ships, built between 2004-2007; Liberty of the Seas, Freedom of the Seas and Independence of the Seas, all have almost a thousand, luxurious passenger cabins supplied by Rauma Interior. In these boats' restaurants you can enjoy a cup of coffee on beautiful, high-gloss tables that were supplied by Rauma Interior. In addition, Rauma Interior has developed a method that enables see-through, crystal clear surface that is moisture as well as wear and tear resistant. With this a beautiful three dimensional appearance is achieved also in these three RCI cruise ship interiors.

In 2008 Rauma Interior we delivered furniture to the reception areas of Color Line's newest vessels Color Superspeed 1 and 2.

marine: Birka Cruises / Birka Paradise Rauma Interior delivered in 2004 office, conference facility, sauna and bridge furniture to Birka Paradise built at the Aker Finnyards' Rauma docks.
marine: RCI / Jewel of the Seas In 2003 Rauma Interior delivered Kvaerner Masa-Yards' Piikkiö plant, 325 passenger cabin furniture for a cruise ship named the Jewel of the Seas. The ship was built at the Meyer docks in Germany. Furniture was designed according to customer's drawings. Total delivery included, to mention a few: dressing table, brochure stands, closet, night stands, bathroom furniture, breakfast and sofa tables, beds as well as decorative and full body mirrors.
